La presidenta de la Cámara de Diputados, Lucía Medina Sánchez, encabezó la guardia de honor hecha al expresidente del hemiciclo Hatuey De Camps Jiménez (1979-1982), quien falleció la noche del pasado viernes de un cáncer.</p>
<p style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 20px; margin: 10px 0px;">Junto a Medina Sánchez, hicieron guardia de honor el vicepresidente de la Cámara, Lupe Núñez, además de los expresidente Rafaela Alburquerque, Alfredo Pacheco, Rafael Peguero Méndez y la secretaria Ángela Pozo.</p>

<p style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 20px; margin: 10px 0px;">En la Funeraria Blandino, de la Abraham Lincoln, el rector de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, (UASD), Iván Grullón y catedráticos de esa casa de estudios también realizaron un ceremonial en honor al De Camps, quien fue profesor de esa institución y presidente de la Federación de Estudiantes (FED).<br />

<strong>Agredece “discurso bellísimo”</strong></p>

<p>“Mis emociones y mis recuerdos me trajeron acá a la funeraria, la contemporaneidad, fuimos contemporáneos en la universidad, participamos en los mismos movimientos y la solidaridad familiar”, expresó Germán Mejía, al acudir a la Funeraria Blandino a dar el pésame a los familiares del dirigente político.</p>
